Timer for Auto-scan
Controlled by an adjustable preset timer, ScanWizard DI can carry out a scan job periodically, avoiding repeat of same scan actions.( This feature only applies to the XT scanner series. )

Preset settings
Base on personal preferences, users are able to save common-used scan settings as preset settings and then use them later when necessary, eliminating unnecessary repetitions and fastening working speed.

Supports programmable function buttons
Used and coordinated with function buttons equipped with a scanner, users are able to assign common used functions, such as scanning, printing, copying and E-mail to these buttons on a scanner and then to access these functions in a faster access.

Paper count
This feature allows users to keep track of using frequency of consumer parts of a scanner, which is convenient for replacement, management and maintenance of consuming parts.

Book mode scan
This feature is designed for scanning a book. Users are able to choose either left-open, right-open or upward open direction to scan a book. Also, the software can rotate the scanned image into a readable direction automatically. ( This feature only applies to the XT scanner series. )

Smart duplex scanning
With this feature, ScanWizard DI enables simplex scanners to scan both sides of a document by one simple click. It efficiently upgrades the simplex scanner to a duplex scanner, saving a lot of effort and money. (This feature only applies to the ArtixScan DI 2015C scanner.)

File Scanning, Overviewing and Storing

One scan to PDF
The Quick Scan function button of ScanWizard DI allows users to scan a document directly into PDF format without needs for complicated settings.

Supports multiple file saving formats
Users can save scanned files in TIF, BMP, PCX, PDF, DCX, JPEG or JPEG 2000 format. Moreover, when files are saved in TIF, PDF JPEG .or JPEG 2000 format, users can change settings for these files to get different compression quality.

Supports combining of images
ScanWizard DI allows users to save all scanned images under one file which is helpful for the file management and arrangement.

Advanced Techniques in Image Processing

Auto-crop and Auto-deskew
According to the size of a scanned original, ScanWizard DI is able to automatically crop a perfect size for it and to correct it for proper alignment.

Auto document rotation
According to the selected language, ScanWizard DI will rotate a scanned image into a readable direction automatically.

Remove punch hole
ScanWizard DI will detect and fill punch holes in white automatically during scanning, making after-scanned image clean and pleasing.

Remove blank page
ScanWizard DI can detect and remove blank pages from a pile of scanned files, ensuring cleanness and continuity for the after-scanned images.

Document enhancement
This feature brings out and improves the readability of text in a document that includes other elements such as color, pictures, or graphs.

Descreen
The technique remove Moiré Patterns in images and makes after-scanned images clearer.

Smart threshold
Threshold is the dividing point between black and white. By applying this technique, ScanWizard DI can adjust light and dark parts in B & W images automatically, making texts or lines in scanned images would be clearer.

Adjustments for contrast and brightness
This feature allows users to adjust contrast and brightness levels for a selected image, making the after-scanned image clearer and brighter.

Adjustments for hue and saturation
This feature allows users to adjust hue and saturation levels for a selected image, making the color of the after-scanned image more vibrant.

Sharpen
Provided with USM tools, this feature is designed to display the details and complications of a selected image.

File Applications

Scan to E-mail
ScanWizard DI allows users to send the scanned images as attached files to the assigned E-mail address directly.

Scan to copy
Through the connection with a printer, ScanWizard DI allows users to print out scanned images immediately.

Scan to OCR
Interpreted by built-in OCR technology, ScanWizard DI is able to transform scanned images as editable texts.
